How to spend your time inside the building
Take a moment to slow down and enjoy some quiet time.
After a day of exploring Hakone and spending time in nature, return to a space designed for slowing down.
You will find zafu cushions traditionally used for seated meditation, a rooftop where you can practice meditation or yoga, and quiet spaces for journaling and reading.
Inspired by the Buddhist practice of shikan — the idea of pausing and observing — we invite you to step away, even for a moment, from the busyness of everyday life and the pace of your journey.
Take a deep breath, turn your attention inward, and discover your own way of enjoying the time and space around you.
